Travel Grants

The selection of participation grant winners will be made by the conference's scientific committee (composed of high-profile international scientists in the field of orchid conservation), according to the following criteria.

Applicants will:

1. be judged on individual merit and ability to deliver benefits to the concept of the conference

2. be ranked based on socio-economic background combined with orchid conservation issues in-country

3. have demonstrated capacity to actively participate (including speaking capacity) in the conference

4. have demonstrated ability to transfer learnings from the conference to in-country benefit for orchid conservation
