Guidelines for presenters

Oral presentations

To make the process as efficient as possible, we ask that you bring your presentation on a USB drive and provide it to the Presenters table during registration on Tuesday the 3rd of September at Tim Winton Lecture Theatre, Building 213, Curtin University. Dr Brendan Janissen will be available to assist with loading your presentation onto laptops ready for the conference in the following days. On the day of your presentation, your file will be loaded ready to go in the lecture hall.

When preparing your file, please ensure you:

  • Provide it in PowerPoint format (.pptx) or PDF (.pdf)
  • Include a holding slide on the first page
  • Name your file “first initial_surname” (e.g. s_smith.pptx)
  • Check that the presentation length is no more than 12 minutes (+3 minutes for Q&A)

Posters

Posters should be portrait oriented, max format accepted is an  A0 (841mm x 1189mm).
